Shaanxi is a continental monsoon climate, due to the north-south extension of more than 800 kilometers, across the latitude, so as to cause a significant difference in climate between the north and the south. The distribution of temperature in Shaanxi is basically decreasing from south to north, with the annual average temperature ranging from 7 ℃ to 16℃. 7 ~ 11℃ in northern Shaanxi; Guanzhong 11 ~ 13℃; Shallow mountain valley in southern Shaanxi province is the warmest area in the province, mostly at 14 ~ 15℃. Heavy rains begin in April and end in November, mainly in July and August. The first precipitation of 320.0mm in spring in Guanzhong and southern Shaanxi generally occurs from the end of early April to the middle of April. Early summer flood rains occur from late June to early July. During this period, heavy rains are relatively concentrated, and floods occur more in Guanzhong and southern Shaanxi.
