25MW land mounted on grid PV solar power station in Italy

Most of Italy has a subtropical Mediterranean climate. According to the different topography and geographical position of Italy, the country is divided into the following three climatic zones: the Southern Peninsula and Islands region, the Madain Plain region, and the Alps. The climate of these three regions has different characteristics.

The southern peninsula and island region has a typical Mediterranean climate with a dominant Atlantic air mass, tropical air mass in summer and temperate air mass in winter. The average temperature in southern Italy is 2 ~ 10℃ in January and 23 ~ 26℃ in July. The Bataan Plain is a transitional climate between subtropical and temperate zones, characterized by a continental climate with low atmospheric pressure and a humid climate. In Milan, Bologna belt, winter often covered by fog, sometimes snow.

The bataan Plain is hot in summer and cold in winter. The average temperature is 2-4 ℃ in January and 20-24 ℃ in July. The Alps has the lowest temperature in the country. The average temperature in the months with more snow in winter is -12℃ ~ 1℃, and in July it is 4-20 ℃.

Italy is located in the northern shore of the Mediterranean Sea in southern Europe, between 36°28 ‘~ 47°6’ north latitude, 6°38 ‘~ 18°31’ East longitude.

Lingtechsolar took into account altitude, latitude, longitude, light conditions, light duration, light radiation, direction, Angle, wind, humidity, salinity, sand conditions, temperature and other factors when designing the project.
